An older dude, as you can see. I got interested in flying about age 12. Psst.. don't tell the Navy that was me shooting my BB gun at the F-9F's about 100 feet above my house... while on final at the NAS base in Texas.
I joined CAP when I was 14 and highly recommend that to any of you younger folks. I trained on the LINK trainer.. ground school.. and flew mostly in the L-4 Birddog. During those 4 years.. I flew in many "sorties" of many downed aircraft and lost boats.
I never did get my "ticket"... due to getting married early and college. However, I have also flown the C-172, C-182. I have been lucky to ride "shotgun" the back seat of a T-33 for about 8hrs and also take the controls of a C-119 flying boxcar.. back in the day.
Been using flight sim for some time. However, it wasn't until last year that I started flying in multisessions. I truely enjoy flying with other people and have a love for carrier ops.
Yes.. I fly other planes.. LOL I keep the aicarrier2 session open.. because.. others also enjoy it... simple as that. However, dont be suprised if you see me in FSX Blue Angels or Military Only sessions.. as well as bush and mountain flying or any other intresting session.
